Sunday Setlist - May 29, 2011

Our God is amazing!!  He's doing so many good things in our midst, that I have to share them with my friends over at TheWorshipCommunity.com through the Sunday Setlists.  All praise to our Lord and King!

Today was another great Sunday at Kernersville Community Church!!  Full disclosure here: I was not in the main worship gathering today because I was in the classroom of our 4-6 year olds.  So, I have two perspectives to offer: one from the children’s area and the other from my husband who filled me in on what happened in our main worship gathering.

In the kids area, it started off kind of rough.  All the children wanted to play with the same toys, but none wanted to share.  Tears were shed, cries went out to mommies, and us teachers needed prayer! :-)  So, I approached one of our ushers and asked him to get one of the mommies and to pray for peace over our classroom.  When I returned to the class, we sat the kids down and asked them to pray.  We prayed for whatever they wanted to pray about no matter what.  The kids also prayed for peace, and the entire room settled down.  The rest of the day was wonderful.  Thank you, Lord, for the peace that passes all understanding!

In our main worship gathering, we have some exciting news.  A gentleman in our congregation was healed of his brain tumor!!  The prayer team got word earlier in the week that scans came back clear.  Today, our pastor passed around copies of two scans; before and after.  The first scan showed the large brain tumor, and the other showed none.  Our pastor then explained that the doctors admitted this is a miracle.  So, we have reason to celebrate here because our God heals even today!!!  We continue to pray for additional healing among us.

As for the songs, here is what we sung:
Holy Are You, Lord
Run
Yes and Amen
Awakening

Our Lord continues to speak to us in our gatherings, and we expect to see more of His miracles and wonders so that we may be witnesses to what we see and hear of the Holy Spirit.  Lord, may your kingdom come and your will be done.  AMEN!
