Proverbs 11:14 reads, "For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure." Lately, I've been seeking an abundance of godly counsel to help me sort through my thoughts and emotions in working through what God is asking me to do. In the process, I am valuing the words of some wise leaders who are encouraging me to move forward in what God is asking of me. My spirit is attentive and I'm willing to learn what I can so I may do the Lord's work effectively. The process of following God's voice is very long and arduous. It is requiring me to daily die to myself, listen to His voice step-by-step, and be patient with His timing. It's not easy, but His rewards are great.
Over the past week (going into this week), God has been confirming that what I hear is from Him. It's a blessing and a challenge all rolled up into one. In one breath, I am excited the Lord revealed to me the vision he gave me a year ago is lining up with what He is doing in His church. Praise God!! In the next breath, I'm thinking I'm gonna need some help to pull this off! :-) So, I'm simply asking the Lord to send me people. Send me people who share the same passion as I do, especially those who are more skilled and trained than me. I need people who not only share the same passion, but also share the same vision. I'm still praying for additional clarity, additional counsel, and additional tools. My journey is step-by-step with the Father.
To set the record straight, I have not completely shared my vision on this blog. Until the Lord puts legs to the vision, I'm really not at liberty to share details of the vision. So if you are reading this, please pray for me as I continue in this journey. If you are praying for me, THANK YOU! I highly value encouragement and prayer. I will do my best to update the blog so readers can stay apprised of my journey. In the meantime, God is good all the time!! I'm still praising his name with all that is within me. Blessings to you!
